Coffee House and Library
I just got to Cebu and will be working here for possibly the next three years. I've lived my whole life in Manila and so in the past couple of days of attempting to roam around the city, I've found myself constantly lost.
But that won't faze me. I'm giving myself a few months to master the place and find cool nooks.
Today, I checked Life Coffee House and Library.
It's a sweet coffee place with a library of children's, non-fiction and a lot of Christian books. It's pretty quiet as it was deserted when I got there.
I got myself a P120 coffee shake and burried my face under a Mitch Albom book while I charged my phone.
Could've been a lot more comfortable if the airconditioning worked better though - real warm inside - but you probably will forget about the temperature once you get the right book.
Life Coffee House and Library is on the second level of Gaisano Country Mall - people call it CMall. So when you hop on a jeep, don't stick out like a sore thumb (like I did) and say, "C-Mall," instead of "Country Mall."
And say, "Palihug," not "Bayad po."
